Do you think the use of 3D printing can help car designers? Why or why not? No, I don't think it helped car designers at all. In fact, I think it's kind of a waste of time. If we already have a method of building cars that is fast, and works perfectly then there's no need to try and make it more technical, especially if i's going to take longer than the previous method. Do you think that cars would ever be manufactured this way? Explain your reasoning. I think that if we ever find a way to manufacture these types of cars faster and more efficient then maybe people would manufacture them this way, but if not then most car producers will probably stick to the old way and continue making the cars in a way suitable for everybody. Careers in the Automotive Industry The automobiles today have features like stability and traction control systems, adaptive cruise control and variable valve timing. To have a career as an automotive technician, young people should have expertise in maths, sciences, communication skills and technical skills. Some advantages of being an automotive technician are that you don't have to attend college as long, which ultimately saves you getting into a lot of college debts, and you can get into the working world faster. Technologies in Development 1.) I think that out of all the emerging technologies, the flying car is the least likely to happen. Most of the others seem realistic, but a flying car just sounds too out of this world. 2.) I think that the Next-Gen Active Safety Features will have the biggest impact on society. If there's a way to decrease accidents, or just make the roads a safer place in general I think the public would jump at the chance, I know I would. 3.) Carl Benz Cars have been around for about 120 years. A patent is a government authority or license confirming a right to title for a set period, especially to the sole right to exclude others from making, using, or selling an invention.  Carl Benz used patentmotocar to describe the car. His wife drove his invention, this created the invention of the first petral station. This system helped solve the problem of steering the two front wheels at the same time. The merge created the name "Mercedes Benz" Benz got to see his dream come true. Henry Ford and the Model T The assembly line sped up manufacturing practices by making 10 cars in the time it took other companies 1 by hand. The model T's were introduced 1909 and sold for $950.
